First purchases

The opening is small on purpose. Helmut starts in Palma with the sunglasses stand. These are the decisions that match that start. They are not a tested “best build”.

These pages follow the rules in game version 1.0.4.

The short version

  • Buy more of the first business before you spread out.
  • Hire its manager once, then let it run.
  • Add the next business, and only then look at an upgrade you can afford.

Build the first business

Finish a cycle and look at the payout. Then buy more of the sunglasses stand. Buying 1 is the lesson. Buying 10 or 100 is the same button once the cash is there. “Next milestone” stops at the next ownership marker instead of emptying the till.

Why this helps. The stands behind it cost more. A stronger first business is what pays for them.

Understand the first manager, then hire them

The manager belongs to that one business. You pay cash once, and only after you own it. There is no wage after that. Until you hire, you start the cycle yourself. After you hire, the stand runs while you do something else.

Why this helps. A second business with nobody hired still needs you. That is a poor moment to close the app. Offline income does not invent a manager you never hired.

Add the next businesses

When the first stand is running itself and you can pay, buy the party promoter. Hire that manager too when you want that line to continue on its own. The same pattern follows down the row: own it, then staff it if you want it to work while you are away.

Why this helps. Two staffed businesses earn in parallel. Two unstaffed businesses earn only while you are there to start them, or while a cycle you already started is still finishing.

Notice an upgrade you can already afford

Each business has three seasonal cash upgrades, in order: more profit per cycle, a faster cycle, then more profit again. A later step waits until you own enough of that business. A new season at this town clears those upgrades. Sun-mark polish is a softer improvement you earn by playing. Jewels, ad-free options, and Cala VIP are optional. The shop can appear in the tutorial without asking you to pay.

Why this helps. An upgrade on a business you are already using is easy to see. A shop purchase is not required to leave the opening.

Play the island

The same rules are in the game. The preview there uses your own town.

The iOS version is not in the App Store yet. There is no download link until that listing is public.
